Terms of Service

AI Innovation Academy is a program of the AI & Robotics Youth Foundation, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. The Academy is the name of the program; the Foundation is the legal entity, and it is the party you contract with.

"We" and "us" on this page mean the Foundation. Its details are at the bottom.

It describes a program: who teaches it, what students build, where it happens, and how to ask about a place.

It is information, not an offer. Reading it does not enroll anyone, reserve a seat, or create an agreement between us.

Before a student works in our lab, a parent or guardian signs our Participation Agreement. It comes with the Lab Use Rules and, for paid modules, the Enrollment and Payment Terms.

Those documents cover the things that matter: supervision, sign-in and sign-out, assumption of risk, what happens in an emergency, photography, refunds, withdrawal and make-up sessions.

They govern the class. Where anything on this website differs from what you signed, what you signed applies.

Tuition, schedules and start dates are sent on request and confirmed with us directly. They can change before you enroll, and cohorts fill.

We keep this site accurate and we fix mistakes when we find them. A typo in a price is a typo, not a price we owe you.

The competition results, awards and student projects shown here are records of things that happened. They are evidence of what has been achieved, and they are not a forecast of what your child will achieve.

We make no promise about grades, admissions, competition placings or employment.

Read it, print it, quote it, send the link to anyone. That is what it is for.

What we ask you not to do: attack or probe the site, try to reach anything that is not published, scrape it to build a competing offering, impersonate us, or misrepresent your relationship with us.

The text, photographs, curriculum, course names, logos and design on this site belong to the Foundation or to whoever licensed them to us. Quoting us with attribution is fine. Republishing the site, or reusing our material as your own teaching material, is not.

Student work stays the student's. Photographs and recordings of students appear here under the permission given in the Participation Agreement, and a parent can write to us to have a particular image taken down.

We link to aryf.org and, from time to time, to other people's sites. Those sites are theirs, with their own terms and their own privacy policies.

A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.

We publish this site as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or reachable at every moment.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, or from relying on something published here rather than confirming it with us. This paragraph is about the website. Our responsibilities to an enrolled student are set out in the Participation Agreement, and nothing here limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

California law governs these terms. If a dispute about this website has to go somewhere, it goes to the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California.

A dispute about a class is handled the way the Participation Agreement says, and the foundation's own site, aryf.org, has its own terms that apply when you use it.

We will post the new version here and move the date at the top. Using the site after that means the new version applies.

Nothing we post here changes an agreement you have already signed.
